Overview of Our Integrated Quality Management System
In 2024, Arcanary achieved certification under ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), and ISO 45001 (Work Health & Safety). These three standards form the backbone of our Integrated Management System (IMS), ensuring that our projects meet the highest international standards for design, compliance, and safety.
Core Principles
- Quality (ISO 9001): Delivering architectural services that consistently meet client requirements and regulatory standards.
- Environment (ISO 14001): Reducing environmental impacts through careful planning, sustainable resource use, and compliance with environmental legislation.
- Health & Safety (ISO 45001): Providing a safe, healthy workplace by identifying hazards, managing risks, and ensuring worker well-being.
Our IMS aligns with our daily operations through documented procedures, internal audits, management reviews, and continuous improvement practices.
Key System Features
- Document Control: All system documents are digitally maintained with strict version control. Obsolete documents are archived but not used operationallyManagement System Manual.
- Risk Management: Risks across quality, environmental, and WHS areas are identified, assessed, controlled, and tracked using the Incident Tracking tool in the Arcanary AppManagement System Manual.
- Non-Conformance Management: Any outputs or processes that do not meet requirements are logged, corrected, and reviewed to prevent recurrenceManagement System Manual.
- Performance Evaluation: Data from audits, client feedback, environmental impacts, and WHS results are reviewed regularly by directors to drive improvementManagement System Manual.
- Management Reviews: Conducted annually to confirm system suitability, compliance, and opportunities for improvement.

Incidents Tracking System
Our Incident Tracking System, built into the Arcanary App, ensures that all issues—whether safety incidents, environmental events, client complaints, or quality non-conformances—are captured and resolved effectively.
What Gets Tracked
- Incidents: Injuries, near misses, environmental events, and procedural failuresManagement System Manual.
- Non-Conformances: Any deviation from client specifications, compliance standards, or internal quality requirementsManagement System Manual.
- Complaints: All client complaints are logged and treated as serious, requiring investigationManagement System Manual.
How It Works
- Immediate Reporting: Staff report incidents and non-conformances as soon as they occur, using a digital notification form.
- Recording: Reports are stored in dedicated registers (Non-Conformance Register, Complaints Register, Insurance Notification Register).
- Investigation: Root causes are identified by independent auditors or managers.
- Corrective Action: Project leads or directors implement corrective steps, monitored for effectiveness.
- Follow-Up: Actions are verified at the next internal audit or management review to ensure prevention of recurrenceManagement System Manual.
- Analysis: Trends are tracked over time to improve safety, quality, and sustainability performance.
